Problem 1 Fixed: Computer Ad Removal
Every time I started my Comcast email, my computer started slowing down and then I would get a unresposive error messages that the script was not working. This went on for awhile and then my sound card went out.
To fix the problem of getting rid of ads I went into my Firefox web browser under
- Tools... Add Ons.. Get Add-ons... Type in Adblock Plus.. click install
- and then go back to your Get Addons tab to make sure the plugin is enabled.
Go back into the Comcast email program and refresh the browser page and the ads should be gone.
The Adblock Plus Addon also removes other ads on different web pages.
Problem 2 Fixed: No Sound in Windows 10
Try the steps below and check if it helps:
a. Right click on the speaker icon which is on the bottom right corner.
b. Click on playback devices.
c. under playback tab highlight speakers\headphones
d. then Click on properties
e. select Advanced tab
f. then Click on Restore to default
